Public Works Loan BoardLending to Drainage BoardsPWLB lends to drainage boards. Details of the lending arrangements are set out in guidance note  DB2 (70 KB). Applicants for loans will need a loan sanction from the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra). Applications should be made on form DB1 (217 KB). The completed form, with a loan sanction, should be sent to the Board approximately two weeks before the loan is required. Indicative repayment costs on fixed rate loans are available here.
