Lending to Drainage Boards

PWLB lends to drainage boards. Details of the lending arrangements are set out in guidance note DB2 (80 KB). Applicants for loans will need a loan sanction from the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra). Applications should be made on form DB1 (192 KB). The completed form, with a loan sanction, should be sent to the Board approximately two weeks before the loan is required.
