Lending to Parish, Town and Community Councils

PWLB lends to parish and town councils (in England) and community councils (in Wales). Applicants will need a borrowing approval from the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG), for which they should approach their County Association of Local Councils or, in the case of Welsh councils, the Welsh Assembly Government.

Application for a loan - form LC1 (193 KB). The completed form, with the borrowing approval, should be sent to the Board two weeks before the loan is required.
